Trying to get back in the game,

I was too ahead of the game, I was supposed to crash even if I was the strongest and didn’t want to,

I was big and my social circle was small (mentally) some wise people say surround yourself with the people you want…

One of the most racist venues in New York just put up the Black Lives Matter sign,

Submitted them my work years ago trying to book the venue, and kept going believing in equality, kept following up and they blocked me on social media and copied my idea putting white…

New Account, new name

Decolonized

Now using my real given name

Matché Doumbia

(Stands for Chief Doumbia)

And the last name Doumbia is an ancient Royal last name in West Africa (in the Mandinka Empire aka Mandingo Empire, we built it)

My first name was previously spelled

Mathieu

(We were occupied by the French so my parents gave me that name until I can grow up to figure out the real name I was given) Plus Mathieu is French, and my father recently told me he gave me that because he knew that I’ll go far in life.

I’m now Mattché Doumbia, named after my grandfather,

Mattché aka Chief

New new new account

I was a celebrity DJ once.

Built a whole neighborhood until the gentrifiers came 😄.

New venues, big marketing, no niggas allowed

Big marketing on magazines, medias and venues I couldn’t get on because of my blackness, but copying it wasn’t a problem. Did I fail? Nah, I just gave up, couldn’t beat it.

#BlackArtistsMatter #BlackLivesMatter.

Don’t hate me, I was given lemons all my life, had to do something with them

Back to step one,

My people need to see what African success looks like, not Asians, and European going there to do what I should be doing and taking advantage of the people, there should be an economic balance to Africa’s growth.

I can’t spend my career in America trying…

Me talking African pride sounds like I’m disrespecting other people’s ancestors, well if you happen to feel that way I’m sorry, I’m African and I was born in Africa.

The world want to see the black man weak and beaten, they want to see a hopeless bitch, walking around the world with no balls asking for a hand out, kissing ass to survive etc… walking around the world with no power, etc…

-

Now as China rise they want to see the Chinese man doing the same thing,

-

And they all collectively; the West, the Chinese man, the Indian man, the Arab man, the Spanish man and all, including women of all races want to see the black man/ the African man weak as the weakest bitch in the room,

New breed of black man, I for one I’m not tolerating that.

Now practicing self care for the first time, trying to heal, night time are officially for tea and glasses of water.

Going to try to do more of what I love, been suppressing them for too long trying to make others happy; more music, more dancing, more karate, more meditating, more praying, more healthy eating habits, more positive thinking, more selfcare, more passion projects, more participation in cultures that support my genius, weirdness and creativity, and surround myself with more people who respect and appreciate those cultures so I don’t feel like there is something wrong with me, my blackness, etc.., more love, more peace, more Africa, more African Diaspora, more me, more gratitude, more peace.
